About Us
Magical Memories Manor is a dream brought to life by Scott and Jessie. In 2021 they purchased the home as a blank canvas. Along with their 4 year old daughter, three dogs, and plenty of helping hands and the unbelievable talents of friends and family, the Manor began to come together.
The idea to create a magical Disney themed home had been a dream of Jessie’s for as long as she could remember. A Disney nerd with fond memories of visiting and even living in Florida for a short time, Jessie couldn’t imagine anything better than a home full of the characters and magical places she had come to love. The idea started becoming a plan when every time they tried to get all of Scott’s very large family together they had to either use a lot of couches and air mattresses or stay in separate locations. There had to be a better way!
Enter a Family Disney Trip. Scott’s sister was able to find a home that was just about big enough to fit the entire family. It was wonderful having room for all the cousins to play together without having to worry about dealing with tears when it was time to leave for the night. The part that struck us the most was more that often than not, the kids were just as excited to play together in the pool as they were to visit the parks! The home was wonderful, but something was missing. When it came time to choose rooms, there were only 2 that were themed. With 8 kids not everyone was able to get the room they liked most. There was one “boy” room, one “girl” room. All of the girls wanted to sleep in the Princess room, alas it only had two twin beds and there were 6 girls. The two older girls were sweet enough to let the littles have the room if only because another bedroom had bigger beds. But the four younger girls crowded into the Princess room, doubling up in beds and taking turns sleeping on a cot.
When the chance came up to purchase a rental home, a Disney house was the first choice. We had stayed in one, knew what we liked and didn’t, this was going to be a blast! Step one was to make sure every room was themed. Nobody misses out on the fun. Not even the adults! Jessie and Scott wanted to make sure there was something for everyone in this home. They wanted it to be the kind of place where there is always a new detail to notice, always fun things to do, and of course as much Disney magic as possible! They wanted a home that they could enjoy and that they wanted to share that joy with others!
